Why i started this thread?

• Firstly, as per my observation, without written practice, one cannot pass the essay.
• Secondly, without getting your essay checked by some other person or a teacher, you cant figure out your mistakes.
• Thirdly, gone are days when topics like poverty, education, women were asked. So, writing on some unseen and tricky topics, and that too under a sort of pressure that we feel in examination hall, is very important.

For above mentioned reasons, i think it would be better to work in a team, rather than working in isolation. So here goes the strategy.

Strategy:
Each group member will choose & present a topic of his choice to other group member. In this way, each member will give a topic to other group member to write complete essay (outline, introduction, body and conclusion) within specified time. Then each member will check the essay of every other member. So, an essay will get checked 4 times if there are 5 members in group. This will benefit in many ways. Firstly;you will get your essay checked multiple times by other candidates, and you will know your mistakes and weak areas. Secondly; when you check essay of others, you also learn the common mistakes and blunders, committed by candidates in essay. Finally, while doing this practice, one will also improve his/her written expression.

This will be weekly practice. However, topics will be shared on Saturday and members will be required to submit complete Essay on Sunday. Reason for this short time is;

• to write and brainstorm under pressure;
• to get enough practice of writing on unseen topics;
• to increase writing speed. (to write approx. 2000 words in 3 hours, & that too without grammatical mistakes.)

NOTE: This strategy is mine, and not finalized yet. You can also put your ideas and suggestions.

i am in too but i dont agree with very optimistic and aggressive strategy of the previous post. We should take it slow. We have ample time.
