Status of Woman in Islam and Pakistan. Introduction.
Introduction-:
In term of totality, women possess same status as men. There can be difference due to physical structure but there is a equilibrium infect. This can be judged through following formula. There are two students namely Samir and Sarmad. Both secure first position in exams. Samir scored eight hundred marks in all subjects one hundred in each subject. On the other hand Sarmad also secured eight hundred marks one hundred for each six subjects in seventh one hundred and thirty and in last subject seventy. The same case is with woman. If man is rude the woman is polite, if the men is hard the women is soft, if the men is strong physically the women is strong intellectually. Both are equally essential for every system. In Islamic point of view Glorious Quran states, "Women have rights over men as men have rights over women in reason and law". In other place Glorious Quran states, "They are raiment for you and you are raiment for them". Again Holy Quran states, "A man can be provider, savior, shield but not master of life". Similarly, Holy Prophet Mohammad SAWW stated that, Actually i accept this marriage, but i wanted to let women know that patents have no right to force a husband on them".Ibn.Maja. Further stated, "Paradise lies underneath the feet of mother". In Islam, there is a huge care of women. It is only a Islam where women enjoy a lot in term of freedom. All traditions relating women are in favor of women if these are practiced accordingly. However in Pakistan, the status of women is quit good. Some orthodox elements undoubtedly, defame the status of women but now the situation is going to better form the worst. Women have been empowered in Pakistan. The further improvement in status of women is under process. There is huge contribution of government, scholars to ensure the dignity of women. Thus, this essay will discuss the status of women in Islam with different angles, her rights comparing with non-Muslim women in the world and in other religions. Besides, women in Pakistan as bright side and bleak side some useful measures to cure the problem and a conclusion.
