Expository or Argumentative, or both?

Hi all!
I am trying to figure out that which kind of essay preparation would be beneficial. One can learn the facts et cetera and write an expository essay quite easily, on the other hand for argumentative essay one has to brain storm and make arguments on the day of exam.
I ask all the seniors ( who passed essay ) that how did you crack essay of css. I am quite fine with other paper of English ( Precis and Composition ) but for essay I am trying to boost up my confidence.
Having said that, I have seen some past papers and it looks crystal clear that more and more argumentative essay are in paper for the past 5 years.

Yes, you should prepare argumentative essay as it is more beneficial for you. While preparing you should acquaint yourself with the art of making arguments. For example by solving past papers. In that way you wont be having much difficulty on the exam day. Moreover, as you are solving past papers you will notice that majority of the essays come from selective topics that is Women,Islam,Democracy,etc. Try to learn some quotations on these topics. It will help you.
