Dos:

1. Make sure you make rough outline at the end of the answer sheet before the master outline.
2. Once you are done with that, stick to your outline throughout your essay.
3. Your introduction should have definition (if applicable), thesis statement, brief description of what you are going to discuss after introduction (e.g; causes, impacts followed by recommendations), etc.
4. Support your arguments with relevant quotations, facts and figures (quote reports published by UNESCO, UNICEF, WEF, Transparency International, inter alia). Always back your argument with facts.
5. Conclude your essay by describing what you have written from the first page to that last.
6. Keep and eye on the clock and finish your essay 15 minutes prior to the allotted 3 hours time.
7. Read your whole essay in last 15 minutes, make corrections, additions where applicable.
8. Keep calm and confident irregardless of how you are doing in the paper.

Don'ts:

1. Don't take too much time to completing your outline. Take 30 minutes maximum.
2. Do not deviate from the topic. Anything written irrelevant may land you in trouble.
3. Do not quote any newspaper
4. Do not overwrite. If you have make changes, follow the practice.
5. Do not draw maps, bullets, headings etc.
6. Do not panic. Stay calm.
