dear all seniors
how should i mprove vocabulary and while witting essay is it neceseory to use comprehensive words or can convey the opinion in simple manner?i am bit confuse as Dawn is a big news papper. what area of Dawn to be focused for essay writting?

There is no hard and fast rule to improve Vocabulary..read Dawn daily it will increase your vocabulary power..coz daily reading will make u fimiliar with new words..
In essay Writiing u should present clear view rather than using diificult words..
in Dawn you should read Article pages and world in focus [International page]
Article wil help u a lot in essay writing ..

slamz... as i hv experience ov reading dawn so its better to study its auditorial page along with international and World in focus. it will improve ur vocabulary skills and will give u worthy knowledge ov things in essay perspective. not so much complicated words are encouraged to b used but essay should not be that simple as well. and if u didn't buy "EXPLORING the world of english" then immidiately buy it....

My favourite columnist is Ardesher Cowsjee in Sunday Dawn on editorial page. He write beautifully but you need a dictionary to enjoy fully his article as his language is too advance for an average reader.
