Default help regarding EDS....

Dear salam,
you are right that you have problems in EDS given your background in arts. But it is every day science and not that much boring like you may think initially. With the passage of time you find it very interesting.See question below.
1)Why it is advisable not to sleep under tree at night?
Ans)..............?
you have few option...
you may know the answer. If yes,i am sure you know EDS and what you need is to study it.
you may have friends having science as career and during gossip you can ask them few questions.
You may have good books related to EDS(which you can see in eds section of this forum) which once you are familiar with, will help you a lot.
I think the main problem is of interest, and to develop interest, study scince books of 6th,7th and 8th.They are simple and v suitable for EDS.

Now answer of the above question.

"Since you know that we need oxygen for liife.During day trees release oxygen and take in carbon di oxide gas.(photosynthesis....)
During night it take oxygen.so when we sleep under tree, there will be deficiency of oxygen and we may have problems.

sir itz really difficult for u at first !
but if u r serious student, u wl carve out a good plan to cover it.
i was also the dullest student of EDS.i started cramming the topix one by one.when i covered some topix i really found the subject very interesting and it was really the easiest one.itz very difficult at first.but try to build interest in it and it is only this way u wl b able to get to grips with it.
mind my brother, this is the most scoring compulsory subject.

Aslam-o-Alaikum Brother,
EDS is not much difficult.i did not study this subject ever in my life before.however, when i started prepration for the EDS,i found it very easy and interesting subject.
In my reckoning you should start from M.A Kashmiri's book contaning Six chapters. What you need to do is to devide the chapters in days.Just Start from first chapter which gives a sound ground of science, greek era, muslim scientists in various fields and non-muslim scientists. And, just make it clear to yourself that you have to spend certain days,5 or 10, to complete the chapter.
Similiarly, opt second chapter,The Universe. And, adopt the same strategy.Likewise, jump from chapter to chapter clearing all the concepts.Meanwhile, you have to solve MCQs presnt in the book after the chapters.
Lastly, after covering all six chapters, start solving the previous papers of EDS.
InshahAllah you will have a magnicent grip on the subject. It is an easy subject don't be perplexed brother.just sit and keep it up..

Kashmiri's book is rubbish.absolutely not enough.

there is a book named Encyclopedic of every day science by Rab Nawaz Samo.

this book is great.covers almost every thing.dont waste your time on other books.take this book along with matric books of Phy,Chem and Bio.
and these will be enough.

best of luck.
