Reflection - It is the change in direction of a wavefront between two different media so that the wavefront returns into the medium from which it originated. (in simpler words, bouncing back of waves)

Refraction - It is the change in direction of a propagating wave when passing from one medium to another. (in simpler words, bending of waves when passing through two different medias)

Diffraction - It is the ability of a wave to bend around the edges of obstacles or holes. The effect is most noticeable when the obstacle or hole is comparable to the size of the wavelength. [in simpler words, bending of waves around the corners (like these brackets) ]
