thanks for these answers kindly tell me if we could write the same explanation if we are asked about hereditary diseases pass on from parents to the off springs?
Along with the above explanation you have to explain about dominate and recessive alleles, an allele is alternative form of a general for a character producing different effects, because hereditary diseases never always transfer to all offspring, only where specific allele for a specific disease is dominate there they are affecting the individual.

Yes you can write but for diseases different genes are located on either X or Y chromosome (although other disease related genes are located on autosomes as well but as you are talking about the transmission from parents to offsprings so talking about sex chromosomes only) you have to elaborate that too e.g. colour blindness genes, hemophilia etc. lie on X chromosome.
Regards!

Presence of defective or mutant genes on hereditary material which are either dominate or recessive alleles determine the transfer of hereditary diseases in next generation.

it depends on the nature of question. if the question carries more marks, then more explanation will be required, otherwise only few to the point line will do the job.
