Default If one cannot give complete reference of hadith or Ayah....?

Dear Seniors and CSPs,

"Anyone who comes with a fine deed will have ten more like it, while anyone who comes with an evil deed will only be rewarded with its like; they wil not be harmed" (Al-Qur'an, 6: 161)

Does it matter if i write the above ayah in my own words and without giving complete reference(since i cannot remember the ayah nos ..).?

Like i write it in paper as "It's clearly mentioned in Qur'an that good work will be rewarded ten times of it and bad work will be rewarded the same as it's happened"
so please advise me can i go ahead with this style.....??

you can go without mentioning the exact reference but obviously it will reflect poorly on the examiner compared to a full reference

you may write the verse/ayah in your words.you may not mention its exact number etc.Don't cram each and everything.if you know verse number, its good otherwise no problem. But you should keep in mind those who come with exact verse number, have added advantage over you.My cousin secured 68 marks in islamiat without providing any ayah and hadith.

First of all you can not change the words of Quran so try to write down the translation of the Holy Quran in the same words as these are mentioned in Holy Quran. Although the concept is clear and similar to the original one but the changing of words can be resulted in mismanagement. So as a Muslim we can not change the words or translation as it is taken from the Interpretation (Tafsir) of the Holy Quran.
