Constitution Of 1973

Critical Analysis:

In light of the previous experience, the Constitution of 1973 was more Islamic in character than the previous ones. Emphasis was made to establish a real Islamic system in all aspects of social life. Keeping this objective in mind, more Islamic provisions were laid down in the Constitution of 1973. The Constitution recognized Islam as the religion of the country and enjoined upon the State to serve the cause of Islam and to bring all existing laws in conformity with Islam. The Islamic Advisory Council was set up to recommend ways and means to bring existing laws of the country in conformity with the Islamic principles.

The Constitution of 1973 remained in force for nearly four years. It was, however, suspended by General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, who imposed Martial Law in the country on July 5, 1979. However, General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq who ran the country with Martial Law passed the Eighth Amendment in the Constitution in 1985. This Amendment empowered the President to dissolve the National Assembly under Article 58(2) b. This Article was later repealed by the Parliament during Nawaz Sharif's era through Thirteenth Amendment introduced on April 1, 1997. The Thirteenth Amendment was in turn repealed by the Legal Framework Order of 2002, which effectively restored the discretionary powers of the President enacted by the Eighth Amendment.

@mastspidy thanks for your support. critical analysis is the main part of your question bcoz it reflect your anylatical abilities to examiner.

don`t worry keep practicing you will be able to write a good analysis
roshan is right look you have to understand the qusetion from all aspects and then give your view (in the from of pros and cons).

for example the critical analysis of cripps mission

Both congress and muslim league rejected the proposals.
congress at that time was not ready to accept less than self rule. muslim league also rejected it at that the movement for establishment of pakistan had gained momentum and nothing was acceptable to them less than pakistan.
but in one respect mission was very important.it had the seeds of pakistan in its non-accession clause.but though these proposals didn`t concede the concept of seperate muslim state unequivocally.

then add quote of k.k.aziz. and that`s it.its very easy try it yourself again and again. INSHALLAH you will improve.

regards sabahat.

@mastspidy, first write about sheikh ahmed in beief and then his services and thier impact on muslims. you have to write this in your introduction.

then write briefly about the conditions of his time.

then comes the important part of the question that is his services, and their impact in detail. you can write about those books and letters which are important as far as his mission is concerened.

i hope it cleared you confusion.
regards sabahat
