Should I challenge FPSC for marks?
Dear All,
Iam qualifier of css-2009 & stand at merit no:797. My marks in Muslim Law are 28 and in final DMC accepted marks are zero.As per my knowledge last year in 2008 amburak scored 25 in mercantile law and the marks were accepted & in 2009 roll No 1152: Scored 27 in IR and same was accepted.Now i need your valuable legal guidance whether it can be challgend or not.What are the policy parameters of FPSC. If I get these 28 marks than my final merit will be improved by atleast 200 position. prompt response will be appreciated. |

If one fails in one optional subject and is pass in aggregate, one is declared pass.
Share your DMC.

@tadap
As per rules of FPSC, if you have scored below 33 marks in an optional sub then these marks are not accepted and further if your aggregate without that subject is above 600 then you are declared to be successful in the written part. But, if you have proof to prove your claim regarding the previously accepted marks, then definitely you should challenge this. |

Rule: You have to pass compulsoy papers and your total in written should not be less than 600 if you wish to see yourself in pass candidates even with any failed paper in optionals. FPSC has made a mistake by accepting his 27 marks in IR paper.
