There was a news item in the daily Dawn today. It will most probably affect those candidates appearing on the domicile of Sindh. The reasoning was that since State has failed to provide adequate learning opportunities in Sindh (Rural) which remains the most backward of all areas in Pakistan, so the condition of Minimum 50% aggregate score should not apply for them as long as they clear all the individual subjects with a minimum 40% score. The argument goes that for many years the seats of Sindh remain unallocated for want of qualified candidates and thus the share of Sindh in federal services is diminishing.

We honor the Court... but everyone has his hown opinion so me also have.. according to my opinion this rule was not only for the Sindh area only.. this was a federal rule.. and if anyone is not getting the prescribed percentage than i think he/she shoul accept the reality that he his no more eligible to be a CSP and need some more work hard to gain the prescribed percentage...
If Sindh rural areas' persons are deprived than Punjabi people has also there grievences that..a person have 200th merti position and having punjab domicile is unable to get allocation while a person have 400th positioin and get allocated only why... becuase he/she has sindh rural or NWFP or Balochistan or FATA domicile.... If 50% is not fair than is this fair????????

I guess this will not of a certain affect. A detail judgement can be helpful to derive any results and comments. Now lest see what rules FPSC adopts with respect to this judgement.

does anyone knows of the 12 people who were the petitioner in this case? please provide me their contact details if any....according to me the constituitional petition was about the candidates of Sindh (RURAL)...not even Sindh Urban people come into it....and since the rule was challenged from 2008 onwards....all of the Sindh Rural candidates only of 2008, 2009 and 2010 will benefit from it
and dont be too cocky about this development as most probably it will be appealed against in Sindh High Court and if rejected will be appealed in Supreme Court...FPSC is not going to sit down quietly on their hands and this may take an year or 2 so be prepared about this kind of situation too. well done sindh high court for public interest
great news for sindh and those other failed in aggregate in CE 2010, they can avail the fruit of this judgment by getting interim relief from the sind high court. Being a lawyer i know that this is not a final order .it is appeal-able in apex court, if fpsc challenges this order in supreme court. it is its legal right but I know GIVEN THAT ALLEGED ORDER that the version of the petitioner( candidates) is strong. appealing, so their would be no problem for its reversal in supreme court. and supreme court will upheld the order of sindh high court. how affected of aggregate in CE 2010 can get the benefit of this order of sindh high court, they should contact with the lawyer of the candidates in that pitition, and he will devise a legal course in the shape of interim relief petition , the disposal of which will take 2 hearings, but with sure result in favor of candidates. so congratulation,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,
