Adil Memon Thursday, August 06, 2009 11:40 AM

mercury,

by now, everyone in my acquaintance has received the offer letter. i don't know why has it been delayed in your case.

i think you should write an application to the section officer (t-v) with a request to accept change in your correspondence address. you will be sent another offer letter on the new address.

for further information, you may personally call Section Officer (t-v) Shahid Raza on 051-9207198.

regards,

Attention Murcury

Salaam,

Dear, Adil MEMON has rightly said and i also have read somewhere that if ever any candidate has to communicate with the commission, s/he is required to address the Secretary fpsc. yr case is also to be handled by secretary so send him an application for changing the particulars of all those documents in which u want to have changes.. He can better direct u what to do next. may be he will send u some forms or direct u to the website etc but make sure that u have already got yr CNIC with the name of the spouse and the complete new address along with your old address cos whatever has to happen next, it will be on the basis of your CNIC. u can also get the domicile of the new district where u have shifted. but it again has to be on the basis of your Cnic. therefore, dont waste time in getting a new id card and let the process begin anon..

Regards,
Cosmic libertine

NSPP is upgraded to DAI
I also heard that CTP will start from January, 2010.

However, there are certain issues; first of all accommodation of many probationers (in words of adil memon it will be a jumbo batch) is a big issue; secondly the authorities at NSPP (National School of Public Policy) are in active interaction with the HEC for evolving curriculla/scheme of studies/credit hours for Master in Public Sector Management/Public Policy.

Said Master degree programme will be formed after merging/integrating of course work studies during CTP and STPs. Probably they intend to launch it from 37th Common. Wait patiently, if they are going to start it thn you people will be able to get a Masters degree after completion of your CTP and STP.
Aoa dear 37th Commoners,
Hearty congratulations on your brilliant success.
+National School of Public Policy (NSPP) has now become a degree awarding Instituion as per HEC. All the relevant issues regarding course syllabus, credit hours and scheme of study is almost approved. And as first step, HEC has allowed and added NSPP to the degree awarding Institutions list in Public Sector DAIs (Degree Awarding Institutions). One may visit following link and then click Punjab; NSPP is at the top.
http://dev.hec.gov.pk/UniversityFinal2/RegionUniversity.aspx

Thus, most probably, Master degree will be awarded to Commoners starting from 37th CTP batch.

regards,
Noman !

Thanx dear for your gratulatory message and the info shared.

Yes, the authorities at NSPP and the HEC are working for finalization of syllabi and course contents for Master programmes, however, it has not been finalized so far. Probably it will be finalized at the end of this year and before proper commencing of CTP.

The NSPP was initialy incorporated under a Presidential Ordinance in September, 2002 and said Ordinance is included amongst 37/39 Ordinances which are to be placed before the Parliament as per verdict of Supreme Court on PCO.
dear ali akbar,

there's some addition in the information. CSA is reportedly facing issues related to budget and inadequate mess, classroom, hostel facilities etc. at present, i do not know how the administration is going resolve these issues. there is a possibility that the batch may be further delayed. the actual date of commencement of our ctp may be somewhere in March 2010.

until now this is just a rumour. but the logic upon which it is based isn't totally untrue. our batch is a jumbo batch.

so... have fun with your present bosses. :)

regards,
I dont know how they are going to cope with your batch. this is a big batch and the classroom facilities might not be sufficient for all the people. i have heard that they might arrange something in the next door railway academy for some of the probationers. but that is a rumor.
there is only one new hostel. and it has 50 rooms, so an extra 100 people can be accomodated. besides Allama Iqbal has big rooms so some people can be accommodated there. but still i dont know how all of the people will be accommodated.
i have not seen any plans for a new hostel facilities. the groundbreaking should have been done by now if there were any plans for it. so i dont think they are making any new ones any soon.
that is all the news i have for now.
i mean to say my status has changed from single to married from the time of regristration uptill now. Therfore i want to register with my new address and name etc so tht i may be contacted at my new address.
just use the old ID. its all khana puri.

mahmood bhai, thanks a lot for the latest.

please share your views on the rumours that our ctp may be shortened to 6 months. one friend claims the news is reliable. another one says, since ctp+stp is now a degree programme they will need time to complete the required credit hours. so it is not possible.

i am interested in ctp length going down to 6 months. please give me the good news.

waiting for reply.
