When the 37th CTP is expected to start

hello alll plz tell anyone have info regarding CTP

Adil Memon Friday, July 17, 2009 10:05 AM

aqdas,

it's not possible to provide an exact date. it can only be known after the 36th ctp expires on 28th october, 2009.

if we go by the trend... csa undergoes renovation before any batch is admitted. this exercise will take around a month or more. so we may be called anytime during december of january if everything proceeds ideally.

last year, some senior omg officers were called for training in csa. it also delayed the previous ctp. pray anything like this doesn't happen in our turn.

regards,

aliakbar124 Thursday, July 30, 2009 09:03 AM

thanx jnab

dear adil bhai, some valuable information from you.
kindly share any other information u come to know bout the training,
i cant wait to quit my current job, lollz ! :clap :clap

Adil Memon Thursday, July 30, 2009 09:48 AM

dear ali akbar,

there's some addition in the information. CSA is reportedly facing issues related to budget and inadequate mess, classroom, hostel facilities etc. at present, i do not know how the administration is going resolve these issues. there is a possibility that the batch may be further delayed. the actual date of commencement of our ctp may be somewhere in March 2010.

until now this is just a rumour. but the logic upon which it is based isn't totally untrue. our batch is a jumbo batch.

so... have fun with your present bosses. :)

CTP may be curtailed

Dear Akbar and Adil,

37th Commmoners may be adjusted in a railwy hostel too situated adjacent to CSA,a friend at CSA 36th common narrated. He also shared another proposal (under active consideration) that CTP may be curtailed to 6 months.Decision in this regard rests with NIPP National Institute of Public Policies.

dear shabbir,

the news you are sharing is quite hope-giving. it makes me more closer to the day i will be wearing my uniform. :)

i don't know if the railways academy will be able to accommodate the surplus of trainees in our batch. however, this is quite practical as the railways academy is in the neighbourhood of csa.

thanks for sharing your piece of information.

another source from lahore (not authentic) gave it the month of January

Muhammad T S Awan Tuesday, August 04, 2009 09:33 AM

I also heard that CTP will start from January, 2010.

However, there are certain issues; first of all accommodation of many probationers (in words of adil memon it will be a jumbo batch) is a big issue; secondly the authorities at NSPP (National School of Public Policy) are in active interaction with the HEC for evolving curriculla/scheme of studies/credit hours for Master in Public Sector Management/Public Policy.

Said Master degree programme will be formed after merging/integrating of course work studies during CTP and STPs. Probably they intend to launch it from 37th Common. Wait patiently, if they are going to start it thn you people will be able to get a Masters degree after completion of your CTP and STP.

@Mercury

Dear adaab,

I dont realy no what changes u wana make in yr id card, but whatever changes u make in that, its just with the NADRA set up not with CSS or CSA cos u no they 'll accept any id card which NAADRA has issued to u. if u wanna make it in English, u can do it only when u show naadra the Original visa and give them a copy duly attested by the embassy of the concerned foreign country.. about the date of birth, u cant change it at this time of yr age cos CSS will have serious objections to it and yr case may be deferred till some unknown date..

Plz giv us the exact query so that we can guide u accordingly..

I wonder if that is the case, however FPSC can complete process for candidates from armed forces within 15 days.Let us see if FPSC conducts interviews without Chairman.

Adil Memon Thursday, August 06, 2009 10:17 AM

i'm not completely clear on your question. anyway,

i think you should write an application to secretary, fpsc and concerned section officer in establishment division informing them about the changes in your profile. you can also provide the new address for correspondence in the application. attach the documents which have undergone any change in particulars.

Thank you, either it is ths or the other solution i see is tht i wait for the offer letter and respond on the provided address. through the estb. div. by the way does anyone knw by whn will we be recieving our offer letters?

regds.

Adil Memon Thursday, August 06, 2009 11:40 AM

mercury,

by now, everyone in my acquaintance has received the offer letter. i don't know why has it been delayed in your case.

i think you should write an application to the section officer (t-v) with a request to accept change in your correspondence address. you will be sent another offer letter on the new address.

for further information, you may personally call Section Officer (t-v) Shahid Raza on 051-9207198.

i tnk u should wait till ctp, u will sure get a chance their to change ur profile so dont worry when u will go for ctp, then u can make the concwerned changes in ur profile there because at the moment u might create confusion for ur self.

PS: according to my info ctp of 37th common will start in mid december r 1st week of january.

Attention Murcury

Salaam,

Dear, Adil MEMON has rightly said and i also have read somewhere that if ever any candidate has to communicate with the commission, s/he is required to address the Secretary fpsc. yr case is also to be handled by secretary so send him an application for changing the particulars of all those documents in which u want to have changes.. He can better direct u what to do next. may be he will send u some forms or direct u to the website etc but make sure that u have already got yr CNIC with the name of the spouse and the complete new address along with your old address cos whatever has to happen next, it will be on the basis of your CNIC. u can also get the domicile of the new district where u have shifted. but it again has to be on the basis of your Cnic. therefore, dont waste time in getting a new id card and let the process begin anon..

Aoa dear 37th Commoners,
Hearty congratulations on your brilliant success.
+National School of Public Policy (NSPP) has now become a degree awarding Instituion as per HEC. All the relevant issues regarding course syllabus, credit hours and scheme of study is almost approved. And as first step, HEC has allowed and added NSPP to the degree awarding Institutions list in Public Sector DAIs (Degree Awarding Institutions). One may visit following link and then click Punjab; NSPP is at the top.
http://dev.hec.gov.pk/UniversityFinal2/RegionUniversity.aspx

Thus, most probably, Master degree will be awarded to Commoners starting from 37th CTP batch.

Muhammad T S Awan Monday, August 10, 2009 08:27 AM

Yes, the authorities at NSPP and the HEC are working for finalization of syllabi and course contents for Master programmes, however, it has not been finalized so far. Probably it will be finalized at the end of this year and before proper commencing of CTP.

The NSPP was initialy incorporated under a Presidential Ordinance in September, 2002 and said Ordinance is included amongst 37/39 Ordinances which are to be placed before the Parliament as per verdict of Supreme Court on PCO.

I dont know how they are going to cope with your batch. this is a big batch and the classroom facilities might not be sufficient for all the people. i have heard that they might arrange something in the next door railway academy for some of the probationers. but that is a rumor.
there is only one new hostel. and it has 50 rooms, so an extra 100 people can be accomodated. besides Allama Iqbal has big rooms so some people can be accommodated there. but still i dont know how all of the people will be accommodated.
i have not seen any plans for a new hostel facilities. the groundbreaking should have been done by now if there were any plans for it. so i dont think they are making any new ones any soon.
that is all the news i have for now.

The CTP of 37th common will start from january 2010. As far as the accomodation is concerned, new hostels have been constructed which will be completed by december.

A commoner from 36 CTP informed me that 37th CTP is likely 2 begin from mid January. Regarding duration of CTP, he informed that it wud b of 10 months due to minimum credit hours requirements set by HEC for National School of Public Policy, whose status hv bn upgraded as Degree awarding institutution. all commoners will b now b getting a masters degree in management sciences on completion of training.

Logistics should b headache for CSA admininstration... waisey 37 ctp commoners should b ready for accomodation in tents...

Its gonna be real fun

@Arif Rao and F.S.

Dears,
U gave a tinge of fun to the grave situation of the accommodation of 37 th common which is the need of the day. Few of my CSP friends are jumping down the guns by chivvying info from seniors.. they seem to have ants in their paints which is something natural to some human. their fears and expectations are due but let me tell them all that one has to pe patient when waiting for something. just live yr normal life and let the thing come by.. Its as much interesting as the final allocation of the Guys to groups. so i hope it will be announced when are we 'princes' gonna be asked by them to join our ctp...

Arif Rao and FS plz keep lulling these impatient guys with yr much wanted funny remarks about tents n IDPs etc n add more color to the rainbow..

@Mehmood,

My special thanks go the worthy Mehmood, my senior for getting us with the invaluable info of a hostel that can swallow at most 200 people but it certainly is a relief for the CSPs sorry for the Internally Displaced CSPs to be tucking in under the roof of some building which will deprive them of seeing the beatiful sky at night...:nono :nono :nono

Lets hope for the best and wait till the cat is out o the bag...
