@honor
U had better advisedly keep PAAS before OMG.Mobility to districts,promotion prospects etc make,to me,PAAS superior to OMG.Present Chief Secretary Sindh is frm PAAS.Perks,privileges too for PAAS are more than OMG. There is a little mobility for OMG courtesy uncertain Local Govt System otherwise OMG is confined to FEDERAL SECTT. Group Preferences
Quote:
My opinion is second to Brother shabbir Sethar. if i were you I would place PAAS over ITG than CTG and rest is ok.... prefering PaAS over ITG is debatable but I have asked many Senior CSPs abt it and they opine that PAAS offers more handsome prospects of upwards mobility than ITG (or PRS)... Wish u best of luck...

Zaberdast Post! I understand about PSP but what is it about DMG that most of the candidates are preferring it for the first or second priority:s

But it all depends on one's own temperament and aptitude towards the service. PsP is still attractive due to its complete independence in its internal functioning.Both services have their pluses and minuses. You should opt the one you feel best for yourself and where you'll get opportunity to show your true colours. Regards

@ Maneka:
You are right. DMG is one of the best groups though an argument can be presented in the favour of any of the top 4 (DMG, PSP, FSP, Customs)..... I wanted to ask is OMG not being offered this year as the form does not show this group....... Congrats on being Super Moderator

congrates to all on their brilliant success ............ i would like to advise u people to decide carefully about 4th and 5th options as IRS has been formed today . C&E is now Pakistan customs only. Its future is ......... so b careful IRS is definately going to b a better group in my opinion rest lies with you

Well as far as i can remember OMG was not even mentioned in our preference form as well, we had to manually write it down in the initial stages. I guess when we had to give our final preferences just before we entered our Interview rooms, those forms mentioned OMG as one of the service groups on offer. So just write it down manually and hope for the best.
