FPSC Vs Affectees(A legal way out)

AOA

A lot has been said on the forum. I just wanted to keep mum about this issue but i was forced to move here when one of my friend got demoted and descended from 105 to 204 position in a new revised list. FPSC which over the years had made reputation as the only credible institute to condut the exams and induct the candidates in the superior exams, but series of omission by the commision has certainly raises some eye borrwos.

There are many candidates who are dissatisfied with the performance of FPSC, and i feel very sorry for those 13 candiadates who were bogged down among whom, some of them were sensing the chances of getting allocation on15th of june but not now. I also feel very sorry for those who are still stunned, dumbfounded and devastated by the outcome of result.

I have just met with President Lahore High Court Bar Association on the insistence of my friend Hasnain Khalid, who was greatly disturbed with the latest situation and wanted to pursue a legal action to get his position back. We discussed the matter at length with the President who conceded and endorsed that this is the matter of national importance, need to be sorted out. The President is going to file a writ in LHC soon after thorugh deliberations, work and consultations. Other aspects would also come into account. If any guy still feel that injustice is meted out to him, can be a petitioner in the proposed writ. You are welcome to give any suggestion, points which can be fruitful in the preposition, drafting and prepration of suit. You can send your views to the following email address.

Another friend of mine Faiq had also a fruitful session with SM Zafar in this regard.

The purpose to move to court is a legal right, irrespective of the fact what would happen. One thing is pertinent to mention that this move is not aimed to discourage, distaste and to get ill will of those aspirants who are satisfied with the merit list, but mainly to make inroads so that these manipulations, deliberations and alterations may not happen again in future.

Kind Regards.

This is total fun. I have some valid points for your help which I would blog here after a while. I am going to meet a group of more qualifiers right now and will update you. People can contact Mr. Awan as well on his number 0300-6006263. Kindly patch up with us we don't have time.Start drafting valid points and be ready with them by Monday morning. No one escape like that. They altered the result to justify there previous result by decreasing the marks of bellow 300 in interview and increasing the marks above 105 so the earlier list could be matched to maximum. How come 120 + students gets above 900. Over one years the standards of Pakistani students changed. Earlier 830's 820' even 790's got allocated in Punjab. and I am sure they have given 250 marks in interviews in some cases to make them allocate and others near 100. That much difference cannot be accept. Most of the people getting 100-150 marks are CSP of yesteryears or from military academy which shows they forget how to talk after training and some one coming direct in from no ware scoring 250 because he is not yet trained by a superior govt. academy. FUNNY isn't it. This is 2010. No one is going to let them escape like this.

Right. Its not that we have some kind of distrust on FPSC. Speaking in a positive sense, we just want to emphasize that if someone is deprived intentionally or unintentionally, he must get his right. Also for the successful candidates, they are worthy of their success and any doubt about their success is out of question.

However if someone wants to register his/her dissatisfaction in a healthy way, shall not be discouraged. At the end of the day, its going to establish a positive image for FPSC as an institution itself.

FPSC is an independent organization, and has its own rule of business. firt list was faulty, of course, they have corrected it. what do u want they should not have corrected!
if u'll go court, do u think court will say ok don't omit mistakes. please don't make laughing stock of yr self.

Faiq Sunday, June 20, 2010 03:19 AM

Mr Bhutto kindly explain this. An error occurs due to computer problem and when it is removed it was between 105-2XX . Common sense and all experts say and I hope even your school computer teacher will tell you if such error occurs it should be corrected from 1-900. Any thing else Mr. Bhutto.

Dear users,

As a passive follower of the whole results fiasco, I would like to share my opinion with you all, firstly what If FPSC really did make an innocent mistake, and what if there is nothing sinister behind their intentions, it should be noted that the interviews ended on 14th July, please correct me if I am wrong, and the list was published immediately within 24 hours, due to shortage of time or pure hastiness, maybe it was not thoroughly checked/scrutinized, thus the error went unnoticed. We as a nation do not have the most efficient people working in the Govt departments, maybe this is a case inefficiency only, and not a conspiracy against the thirteen unlucky candidates.

I also happen to be a lawyer, I would like offer my opinion, I see a serious deficiency of evidence, we have only heard rumours so far, if somebody has concrete evidence then they should come forward, any comparison to previous result will not be admissible as evidence, the results always vary year to year, you cannot expect consistency, for e.g. the pass percentage was 6% in 2005, and now it is just over 15%, maybe FPSC is more lenient now, and thus more candidates are passing, and scoring marks in the higher bracket.

Last point, FPSC is a autonomous organization, courts will always be reluctant to interfere.

I am very thankful to the admns and mods of cssforum for giving us some space so that we can raise this issue here and get feedback. Kudos to you!

I am also thankful to all those who have reposed confidence with the positive feedback and who wanted to be on board for further actions. This issue is very serious needs to be taken seriously, The person for whom i m advocating is already enjoying a lucurative post, so the purpose is to fight for right, no matter which way it goes.

I have mentioned time and again that we have no grudge at all to all those candidates who are satisfied, but with the FPSC. To get its image back, rectification at the earliest is the utmost requirement. Those who are thrown out of the way are the most seriously affectees, it is hard for them to digest this latest situation. Apart from that there are reasons where some students have started to believe that the result was not even closer to the worst they could have ever thought of.

So in this whole scenario the court of law is the best suitable place to decide and to rectify the loopholes. FPSC is capable enough to represent iteslf. I m extremely sorry for all those who would be fuming about the recent development, but if all candidates sans me got themselves appointed or allocated, it would have no problem for me.

Kind Regards.
