dear there is no any hard and fast rule for essay length and word content. it is only quality that matters. even still u are worried about the length then round about 15 pages or 1500 words are enough.

one thing i want to tell u that dont worry about the directions written on essay paper that such and such no of words must be written. only focus on logical, relevant and important ideas about essay. put an especial focus on ur language.

regards

look the thing which should be kept in mind is your safety. i mean if u r asked to write an essay of about 2500-3500 words (which is normally asked in essay paper, only ce2007 an exception where length was unattainable 5000 words...), u must ensure that u meet or r near about this criteria....

i mean 2000+ words will do but u should not feel safe unless u ve fulfilled what is the requirement...

my point is "stay safe, try to meet all the demands including the length demanded by the paper".

regards
