CSS 2010 exams experiences & mistakes

well i gave my last paper of c.s.s 2010 yesterday...it was a hell of an exam .....as it was my 1st experience so it was some thing new to learn in every paper i gave .....the 1st shock came to me was that there was no line in the answer sheets,,,,well i am used to write words small and online so it created a lot of mess when i can't balance my lines and writing properly.....
the second best thing i learned that always bring lot of pens with you , because when i ask a guy sitting in front of me to give his spare pen,,he replied ( its competitive exams even giving you a pen means that you will more then then me) i was shocked to hear that....
the third thing i learned that nobody show you his m.c.q's sheet they put there hands on it and stare at you.....even if you ask some heading from them they will tell you wrong because nobody wants that you get good marks and he gets bad .....the data sheet made all things very worse....i had papers 4 days continuous it means 8 papers 24 hours of papers writing....hardly got 10-12 hours in all in these 4 days....

well i prepared well from books but all papers were very general and analytical and one needs lots of thing while answering the questions.....you cant copy paste from the book because every question has some cheeky tricks in it....well it was a very eye opening experience and i learned a lot and i hope everyone who has given the papers have learned a lot from their experiences .bye khuda hafiz

But this is not positive.

Staring is a warning "Don't peep again".

I do not know in which sense cngfitted77777 has depicted this, he is in a better position to explain it.

At our center in FSD people were quite magnanimous and were telling each other. Specially girls were really helping each other. I dont know whether they were telling the correct answers or not. But one should never depend on others. One must have confidence in his/her own abilities.

my experience

its really a good but harsh experience for me. although, preparations of CSS are a big deal, attempt of the papars is also a hard nut to crack. two papers in the consecutive days require a lot of stamina.. following are some of my learnings, and advises for CSS aspirants.

1. have with u very comprehensive and short notes in days of papers, not of length more than 10 pages for each subject.
2. don't try any substandard book, only use those which are recommended by the experts. ... study from some substandards books have really created many complexities for me....
3. its better to read 1 words by understanding than 10 words by ratalization..... if one go through the trends of questions being asked in the last three or four years particularly the present one, he would find out that ratio of general questioning has much increased.. only those wd succeed who have good understadning and writing skills.
4. increase the weighatage of current affairs and essay writing preparation, have strong grip in these papers. these would surely help one out in the other papers.
