This year last paper was on 22nd March so you can better estimate the time :-)

one more way of looking at it is that, you know, in 2009, everytime people telephoned fpsc to inquire about the result date, the fpsc would give a different date, however at no time did fpsc give a date which was later than 26th october (as far as my knowledge is concerned). The result was finally announced on 26th october.

So if you phone fpsc and they tell you "last week of september" that probably means that the result cannot be earlier than that, but it cannot be later than that either.

This is just another way of looking at it.

Also: the difference between the number of candidates in 2008 and 2009 was perhaps more than the difference between the number of candidates in 2009 and 2010, so we can make a guess how much the delay might be caused because of the greater number of candidates in 2010.

I've found aspirants curious about the written result of CSS 2010, so I've compiled some figures and statistics. In the light of that data we can safely expect the written result but remember its an estimate not final. Keep your fingers crossed, time is ripe for the announcement of result and countdown is started.

CSS 2008 Highlights

Date Sheet Issued: February 22, 2008
Papers Started: 15-03-2008
Last Paper: .01-04-2008
Written Result announced: September 02, 2008
Final Result announced: March 11, 2009
Allocation announced: Thursday, July 02, 2009 (Uploaded on July 16, 2009)
Reported CSA: 1st of January 2010.

Gap between Last paper and written result: 5 Months.

Gap between 22-08-10 and last paper is 5 months. Safely, keeping in view past practices of FPSC, CSS Result 2010 is expected in the end of August or start of September. Eid is also another factor let us see whether they will announce it before Eid or after it.

Unfortunately, people are thinking as everything is wild goose chase.despite of posting previous years result figure,my post has been portrayed as absurd views.

Although,their approach is limited and therefore it is unbearable for them to be agreed with ones prognostication.

i didnot ask anyone to believe whatever i have pointed out ,is accurate,and will surely be come rather i was meant to let people know how much time is being taken by fpsc for preparing css result.
