Agree with Zakirsamo.First of all the members who are opposing the statement of the said guy tell the candidates, what about the link of fpsc which was about the DMCs, posted soon after the announcement of result on css forum and removed after the comments f some deserving aspirants????????
Was that a valid link r nt???
If that was the link then why was removed?????
Secondly the candidates have confirmed their scores via phone to fpsc office, all of them were failed in essay instead of this, they have scored more then 730.
I have met with an officer f fpsc before the results and asked him about the delay in announcement, he just blamed that checker of the english papers has denied to check the answer sheets.

Luck Matters.

A person scoring 770 failed in essay is a prey of bad luck. Also strictness or leniency of examiner matters

Luck in another words is ''fate'' and we have faith on fate and destiny, how can we say that luck has no importance and hard work is surety of success? We have many examples around us, where competent people don't get what they deserve and on the other hand, some people excel everywhere with a little effort. No qualifier can claim, at least i can't that those who couldn't qualify written part were less competent than those who qualified. No doubt hard work gets its reward and we should rely on hard work instead of luck, but ignoring the factor of luck, particularly for css would be wrong.

Hard work is a pre-condition, then the luck factor really counts; not only in this exam but in all the endeavors of life! This is also a part of our belief being Muslims. No idea about other religions, but guess there would be same teachings too in this respect...

So, is wished 'best of luck' in everyday jobs..! If one secures 730+ marks in written but could not qualify essay or Islamiat for want of 2 or 5 marks; what it is?? Could not he secure more marks in the very same subjects by the same checker, or by another one?? And the same way, those who are qualified these crucial subjects with 40 marks, could not be allotted 38, 35 or less marks?? One can term it 'luck' or 'human error' what one feels appropriate (or believes!)..

Best of luck friends!

I believe in one thing !!

"Jo Karta Hai, ALLAH (SWT) Karta Hai
Aur
Allah (SWT) Jo Karta Hai, SAHEE Karta Hai."

Please reflect on these lines and you'll understand the relationship of hard work, luck and success.

Regards

there is no real existence of LUCK in this world. C'mon guys. try to face the realities. ye Luck waghera kuch nhi hota. Everything has a reason. Every cause has an effect. Kisi examiner ki kisi kay saath koi zaati dushmani nhi hoti. Agar itni baat kaafi nhi ha to jo log Top positions laytay hain , kabhi un ka aur apna paper compare karain, phir pata chalay aap ko.

If someone studies smartly, i mean choosing subjects that give him more marks, keeping trends of questions in past papers and marks he will surely in the category of toppers. Smart Work with some hard work will change the luck

Only good luck exists if we work smart and hard, Faliure/bad luck is the result of dodgy way of studies
I was not intending to give any befitting response to above notion. However looking at level of frustration encompassed in members frame of mind,Ithought to give a concise response.
Well Css examanition is after all a competitive exam, designed to provide pathway to suitable entrants to civil services of Pakistan. It is test of your analytical reasoning,English expression, general awareness, knowledge, nerves, confidence, dedication. If you lack in any of them you will be out of competition. Its not about three months or three years preparation, rather it depends on your suitability to be part of superior services of Pakistan. You may be very bright candidate but if you lack any of the required skils, you will face the failure. You should avoid sweeping statements about working of any institution untill you get to very bottom of anything,as Fpsc criteria has worked very well in producing competent civil servants in past and will also do so in future.
I have all sympathies for those who could not live upto their dreams. Please donot be offended with what I said as it was not intended to hurt anyone.Regards
Dear alfaaz ka chunao to bara achha hai, would you please explain that a person who qualifies in a subject with 55% marks, next time fails in that specific subject by 3 to 4 marks. I am quite sure that you have a concept of reliability. Are you sure about the reliability of this exam??
