Dear we hardly have almost ONLY 10 BPS-22 seats for PSP (almoat 50 BPS-22 seats for DMG) ...if hundreds will be recruited then 90% of them retire in BPS-17 or 18...so do you want this? In PSP most of the officers reqch BPS-20 atleast and if we will increase the number we will have to compromise on the promotion
In army...how many officers go beyond the rank of Maj? hardly less than 10% of the batch gets selected for staff course and without passing staff course it is almost impossible to get promoted above the rank of Maj, which means more than 90% of a long couree retires at or below the rank of Maj...If you are ready to retire at the rank of SP or ASP then there can be recruitment in number as pointed out by you...this number of 17 is given by the Police Section in Establishment Division after receiving requisitions from all the provinces for the BPS-17 seats (ASP) of provincial police
