Sir, I have got 49th position. My preference order is :
1]POLICE 2] PAS 3]CUSTOMS How come then i get IRS,according to ur list, which is my fifth preference after FSP. secondly, i have got 764 marks in written and 133 in the interview. Do u thnk it will have any adverse effect on allocation? |

According to SUITABILITY CLAUSE commission can allocate a person in any group irrespective of its merit position. A person at merit 785 could be allocated to PSP & at merit # 10 to postal group. But it is applied prudently, a person at merit # 1 might have PSP as his first preference, but commissions can allocate him to DMG/PAS. And second it is implemented in the allocation process not in merit.
