Yesterday, I called up FPSC and they told me that the result of CE 2012 will be announed on any time between mid-august to mid-september.

Any other person having updated information?

Yes, i have heard the same, either prepare from academies in Lahore and Islamabad or at least take exam from these centers. Candidates in these centers are preferred.
But what about those who go to these centers and still don't get success.

So, we have to believe that centers do not matter.

I have a friend in fpsc and according to him result may announced in this month. Given past experience, is it possible for fpsc to announce the result just within 4 months?

He is in lower cadre, may be between 14 to 16 grade but i think seniority level doesn't count in such matters; anybody can have information. It all depends upon ones personal relations within a dept.

I also was suprsied to hear it but he strongly supported his argument. According to him, the chairman is going to retire by Dec-2012, so he wants to complete the process of CE-2012 before his retirement. If he manages to get the written result declared by July or Aug, he would have enough time to complete the remaining process.

Moreover, he along with his staff must have learned lessons from last years delay in declaration of the result. According to him, they have taken steps to not repeat the mistakes.

Quite impossible. He can never manage to declare final result before his retirement.
