According to information provided by members of this forum:
Omar khan ( 1st KP) will join PSP Waseem, Mansoor, Neelam Sultana and Gulanay will join PAS. Imran sethi won't join 41st CTP as he is already in PSP and most probably won't get into PAS this year. Then Comes Sadia with her first preference PAS and FSP as her second preference. This year KP women will most probably get one FSP and surely no PAS and PSP. So Sadia doesn't get her first preference from both open merit and that reserved for women, but she gets her second preference, FSP, from both open and women quota. So, what now? Is it upto her, which seat she wants to avail, or is she obliged to avail women quota seat, or is she going to get the FsP seat from open merit quota of KP? This is going to decide the fate of many. So , can someone explain this thing? |

Now my common sense tells me, much to the chagrin of my male comrades, reserved quota is a previlige, which you can avail if you can't compete openly. Now if a man/ woman is so good that she can openly compete with others, then what logic justifies of availing the reserved seat?
Example: a man from FATA tops Pakistan , will he not avail the open merit seat, and leave one that was reserved for his territory/ province for a guy from FATA, who , due to poor schooling , couldn't compete with others and landed on merit no. 300. This is mere a work of my speculative and analytical sense( which is deeply flawed) ENLIGHTEN ME. ANYONE? |

@ awais
Sir u missed imran sethi merit no 106. Atif rasheed khattak merit no 337. And how much u sure about sadia usman and fakhr e jahan khan that they are from KP? I think fakhr e jahan is from baluchistan. As his roll no is from that centre. Quote:
Also many female in the top list of KP will awail reserved seats of female and the rest will go to next merit order so chances of allocation are there for many like us.

It has discrepancies. I knew. As for Fakhr i Jahan, I was informed she is from KP. As for Sadia Usman, a member here confirmed about her. The case of Imran Sethi has been stated in previous posts. He is already serving in PSP and wanted to move into DMG, but that is not happening. As for Atif Rasheed Khattak, can you please elaborate.

I am observing this thread always, imran sethi may join FSP as well. I am not sure about sadia usman and if you analyse roll no wise fakhr e jahan is from baluchistan. There is no such roll no in KP list.

So If my common sense is serving me right, this is the case scenario :
1) Sadia doesn't get her first preference of PAS , and get allocated in FSP on open merit seat( KP) 2) same goes with Wardha 3) most probably no seats of MLCG for KP this year as there are hardly few seats available, Azra Bakht lands in FSP -- probably her third preference--as well. So , three ladies avail 3 FSP seats. Now comes Amjad HUSSAINzada. But before that we have to make an assumption:HUSSAIN shah has his preferences in this order-- PAS, PSP, or let it be other way round. So in both cases, HUSSAIN finds himself an ASP. Now, let's ho back to Amjad. He doesn't get PAS-- his first preference FSP eludes him as well, as all three seats have been availed by ladies. PSP proves to be another dream for him. So, just imagine how intertwined our fates are! PS: mere speculation are made in aforementioned lines. |

Islaw:
Very good point made about Imran. Knowing him, he will leave police anyway. Such a nice soul, he ain't made for this system. And keeping his background in mind( did medicine from The Aga Khan university) he can excel in FSP. ( he is a nerd ) Secondly, I'm sure about Sadia , she is from Karak. Thirdly, Islaw, you didn't get my point. I'll repeat: a girl has PAS as her first preference and there comes a PAS seat in women quota as well. What then? Will she avail PAS for open merit or PAS reserved for women? I hope I'm clear now. PS: Islaw , knowing you from this thread, I earnestly wish to see you in BPS-17. So all my prayers with you. |
