Default Speculations.

Brothers, in the light of a lot of speculations going on, I have assumed that 198 fresh vacancies have been finalized and as the same has been confirmed by multiple members through their sources, I would further based my estimates on it.
Henceforth, keeping in mind that 198 fresh vacancies have been created, the share of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is estimated at:

11.5% of 198 : 22 (It comes up to 22.77, but I have not round up the figure)

Merit:-------------9.775% of 198:------------------19
Women Quota:----1.150% of 198:-------------------02
Minorities:---------0.575% of 198:------------------01

Total: 22 Seats (Fresh)
Carried Forward: 2 Seats

Grand Total: 24 Seats.

Now, I will have to go through previous allocations to confirm the Carried Forward seats and I will do further calculations after that.

By the way, I was thinking that typically it takes around 45 days to get to know about allocations, as I have been told this by some seniors, so just 2 weeks are left before we will be able to get to know about our final destinies What about if we just wait a little bit

Default All pakistan merit--7%

my query is about all pakistan open merit which is 7%

apart from DMG , we have seats of lower group too , in all paksitan open merit.
now, if you see the allocation of 2011, you will notice that a guy who is on merit number 88 or 120 , has been allocated in AUDIT AND ACCOUNT GROUP, of all pakistan open merit.
now, does this guy belong to some province?as he is obviously not in top 10 or even top 20.how come he gets audit and account in all paksitan merit but a guy from same province who is at 110 merit number , gets OMG..

very confusing.any one has any idea?

@ evolution geek, turi, psycho empire and all wise guys on allocation.please comment

" be careful what you ask for-- you might get it"
Pathfinder: it all depends on the 12 preferences you commit to paper 6 or 7 times before being interviewed.
An example or two pertaining to preferences( though they may sound irrelevant)
2010: Junaid Khan of KP stood 20th in Pakistan and he was not allocated.
2007: Junaid Wazir of GBFATA stood 5th in his quota and 177th in Pakistan and landed in FSP.
So, the tragedy with Junaid khan was that he had mentioned only one preference--DMG-- and as Ill luck would have it, that year KP had 6 guys in top 20. So Junaid khan's over confidence left him with no allocation.
In case of Junaid Wazir, the guy who was 3rd in FAtA had Audit as his third preference-- PSP and DMG being first two, and the girl on 4th position had IRS as her top priority. So Mr Wazir, being last in FaTa got into FsP.
Now, if the man on 100th position has post office as his top priority, he'll get if provided the 99 guys before him get their priority from their province quota.

Path finder:
Miracles do happen. In 2011, of KP( merit no. 24 and third in KP) had MLCG as her top priority. She proved to be a serendipity for KP qualifiers as she got the open merit seat of MLCG.
This year Awais Javaid will prove lucky for someone who had IRS as his priority over OMG. As Awais has opted for OMG as his priority over IRS.
But in your case, I believe, most of those who are above you in the merit list have mentioned their priorities, directly or indirectly. Consult MUSK for this preferences issue, he, it seems, is in touch with most of the qualifiers.
I won't be of much help in this matter.

Path finder:
And I was talking about Maria jabeen on merit no 24.
Secondly, I dont think any KP candidate will get allocated on open merit.
Omar khan will get his top preference from KP quota,
Same goes for Waseem, Mansoor, Neelam , Gullanay( PAS being their top preference)
There is a chance--- a very remote chance-- of Sadia Usman getting allocated in PCS on open merit. But even that is well neigh impossible because candidates from panjab on merit no. 100's are worried about their allocations in any group.
So, dear, of you ask for my worthless opinion , don't pin much of your hopes on such a miraculous scenario. Being a soldier, you should be a realist not an optimist.

I'm sorry for being a harbinger of a bad news.

@ psycho empire and MUSK

your opinion is very welcoming but you probabely could not understand my question sir.i give u a senario..
the all pakistan open merit seats are 7.5 %.no doubt about that. This would make the top 15 guys eligible for claiming a seat in all pakistan.as per your opinion, mr omer will surely get a provincial seat of DMG but yar he will have his NUMBER 14TH CLAIM in open merit too.which could be a seat from railway.now that number 14th seat will be reserved for kpk.and to no surprise of kpk if we presume that mr islah ud din has placed railway on his higher merit opetion .SO ISLAH WILL GET THE RAILWAY SEAT INOPEN MERIT...
this is after a very thorough deliberation and working.i may be wrong.as i regard you far more wiser in CSS affairs lolz..but we can always discuss and reach on consensus that whats is kpk going to get

Dear, very bleak chance Omer gets PSP from merit quota. Most probably from Kpk quota.

However, miracles can happen. Can't say anything decidedly. God bless us all.

Huda Shah at 13, 1st preference FSP, 2nd Customs and 3rd OMG.
