FPSC Decided to retake examination (C.E 2013) of some Faisalabad centres

PUBLIC NOTICE
It is notified for information of all concerned that due to an unfortunate incident some of the parcels containing answer copies of CSS CE-2013 of Faisalabad Centre were found tampered in transit to FPSC Head office. An in-depth inquiry is under process through FIA for investigation and action against the delinquent Postal Staff and the candidates. They will be prosecuted under the relevant law in due course of time.
2. To keep transparency of the examination and finalise the results in time and to save the precious time of candidates, it has been decided by the Commission to cancel the Answer copies of the tampered parcels and hold re-examination. The candidates who
appeared at Laboratory High School (Boys), University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Hall-A) on 23.02.2013, 25.02.2013, 26.02.2013, 27.02.2013, 28.02.2013, 01.03.2013, 02.03.2013, 04.03.2013, 05.03.2013 & 08.03.2013 are being re-examined in the subject(s)/paper(s) in which they had appeared. The candidates who remained absent in any subject or paper therein during first examination would not be allowed to re-appear in that subject or paper
as per examination rules.
3. Re-Examination would be held w.e.f. 19.08.2013 to 29.08.2013 at Faisalabad. The concerned candidates are being informed individually. Further, they are advised to visit FPSC website to check their Roll No., Names, subject(s)/paper(s) in which they will be re- examined and date sheet for the re-examination.
4. This inconvenience to the candidates is regretted, as this incident has occurred due to no fault of the Commission.

I consider it highly unethical on part of FPSC...I strongly condemn this decision of re-examination in Faisalabad.... those who availed their 3rd attempt would now appear in their 4th attempt! Either FPSC should give 4th attempt to all candidates hailing from every province or it Should ban Faisalabad for 2013 inductions!

situation shoudnt have happened in the first place. Puts a big question mark on the credibility of FPSC. begunnah 99% of aspirants from faisalabad are now requested to attone for the sin of FPSC by FPSC and for FPSC.
Further FPSC should request NTS to take charge of its responsibilities and FPSC staff should take the charge of those sitting in Pak Post Office where FPSC would be able to do job more skillfully

brother 4 days ago it was not official. it was announced on website today only :-)

I agree! those copies found tempered should have been straight away banned for life. but this decision is giving candidates more time to prepare than those who have already appeared....furthermore if you see the notification it is mentioned which candidate will appear in which subject ... this makes it very easy for examiner to identify copies later... for instance if 10 candidates are appearing in English Essay then it is very easy for examiner to favour any one or two or more of those 10 candidates.

I appeal President of Pakistan , another very credible person (with repute similar to that of FPSC) , to take immediate notice of the fact as it puts his own credibility at stake in a situation where he stands at position second to FPSC. So, point to ponder Mr. President!

rightly said.,,,,,and isn't it unfair to those are to do it again....i believe best performances are never repeated rather they can never be repeated....they could have easily pinpointed the culprits with sheer dedication if they wanted to....tis is not the solution simply......its unjust.....however things may turn other way round as well ,,,those who could not perform well can do it now....but still thats unfair....and voices must be raised on this issue on every forum.....

Its not an opportunity but burden to reappear in exam.Papers may be more tough this time.Examiners also can become more strict while checking.Those who had given a well prepared attempt will not like this.Its not easy to reproduce your best shot again.
