Well I have done MA english language and literature with 75% marks iiui, my freinds adviced me geography psychlogy n both of these I havnt studied ever .. kindly guide me about thiz

Go through syllabus of all optional subject. Choose optional according to your interest and scoring trend.

Count me in please ,I came to know that u r studying IH and culture in may kindly tell me the learning plan fr ths month . My other optionals are geography and psychology

Currently we are studying islamiat. EDS will be started in June. After that we ll work on optionals.

STUDY PLAN OF EDS

1. Introduction to Science:
Nature of science
Contribution of Muslim scientists and their introduction,

2. Physical Science
i)
Structure and form: Universe and its origin, Solar System and Planets, Satellites, Galaxies, Cosmology, Minerals

ii) Processes: Solar and lunar Eclipses and their variation
iii) Energy: Sources, Types and Different Forms of energy, , Energy conversion in different processes. Ceramics, Plastics, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Pollution: Water, Air, Soil, Noise, Global warming, Greenhouse effect, Acid rain, Water logging ,Salinity, Ozone depletion, Structure of earth, Earthquake, Rocks and its types, Seismograph, Tsunami, Volcanoes, International Date Line, Typhoons and Tornadoes
Geography topics.

3. Biological Science:
i) Short Notes: Difference between animal and plant cell, Different Kingdoms in biology, Viruses, Mosses, Ferns and Algae, Blood, its types and functions and diseases, genetic anomalies, Human eye and ear, Balance Diet, Biological molecules i.e. Carbohydrates, Proteins, Lipids, DNA, RNA, Vitamins and diseases caused by deficiency of Vitamins, Enzymes, Hormones, Metabolism.
ii) Human Physiology:
a) Different systems and related diseases i.e, excretory system, digestive system, Skeletal System, Cardiovascular system, Nervous System and its types.
b) Different types of diseases i.e, contagious and non-contagious, STD, genetic, viral and hormonal diseases.

Definitions and Differentiation and glossary from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental science and Geography.
List of Abbreviations, Miscellaneous topics.


It was elaborated by many seniors and CSPs, EDS knowledge should update with time rather than prepared in few days and leave it for revision. There is no descriptive syllabus of EDS. Go through past 10 to 15 years papers for syllabus.There is chance of missing of few topics in aforementioned EDS Study Plan but Recommended Books will cover those topics.

Recommended Books:

1. Everyday Science by Akram Kashmiri
2. EDS MCQs by Imtiaz Shahid
3. Encyclopedia of EDS by Rab Nawaz Samo and also consult internet

Urdu islamiat is better or in english ?? Asking generally because have studied islamiat in urdu till inter level and have done masters in english language , what would you suggest ?

IS in Urdu is far better because one should play risk free.
