Hello Friends

Fist of all I like to thanks this forum for such a wonderful effort.
This is one of the Unique Thread on this forum, its Journey based thread till this date next year.
My English is not so good therefore I, will be concentrating on English.

[SIZE="5"][B]Let me introduce myself:[/B][/SIZE]
I am Electrical Engineer by Profession, Web Designer/Developer by Joblessness and CSS Aspirant by Motivation. I appeared in CSS-2014 with only 1 month of study which realized me that it needs atleast 6 months of study to get succeeded. Therefore I planned to study from the very next day of CSS-2014. My papers ended yesterday.

[SIZE="5"][B]Reason of creating this thread:[/B][/SIZE]
Makes me and my followers stick to the Study Plan and will create sense of responsibility. And more importantly a pure study pattern of 365 days for upcoming CSS Aspirants.

[SIZE="5"][B]What is Included in this Thread:[/B][/SIZE]
1) Study Plan of each subject ( 50 Topics approximately)
2) Reading of the course books completely
3) Complete Notes based on these Topics
4) Bullet Notes of these Topics.
5) Solving of Previous papers (10 Years)
6) Getting knowledge generally.
7) Discussions between Aspirants in the Presence of CSP.
8) Meetings will be held near Exams

[SIZE="5"][B]Schedule:[/B][/SIZE]
English Essay and Composition papers are considered as Back bone of CSS and I personally felt that, there were only 2 paper in CSS that were the 2 English papers, so we will continue continue studying English 365 days.
For Current Affairs paper extensive reading of Dawn and some Magazines are Important so 2 hours of regular reading Dawn is included in the Schedule. I will also share some online websites later on.
Pakistan Affairs: Month of April (6 hours of study per day)
Islamiat: Month of May (6 hours of study per day)
Every Day Science: Month of June (6 hours of Study per day)
According to my optional Subjects
Geography I , II: Month of July and August (6 hours of Study per day)
Islamic History I, II : Month of September and October ( 6 hours of Study per Day)
Psychology I, II: Month of November (6 hours of Study per day)
Revision of the previous subjects should be reserved per week on sunday or any day.
Last two months we will be solving previous papers.

For the above Schedule You have to be regular, You have to leave your luxurious life, Social Life, Friends if you want fruitful results in the End.

I will be updating this journey twice in a week. And will try my level best to keep this live till the result of CSS-2015.

daily 17-18 hours study, for 1 year ,in my opinion can cover the detailed course of all subjects... not 6 -7 hour study....:waiting

Awesome Colossal, I was also looking for a serious nay experienced aspirant for CE-2015. I feel in this thread I'll find many!!! Colossal! I am also in the same boat dear , I also appeared in 2014 with one month study. After attempting all papers, I have realised that six months are enough for hardcore study. Well, I am with you and my optional subjects are Int.law, Indian history, Sociology, Journalism and Sindhi. Although, I am good at my all optional subjects, but I need a little guidance in Sociology and Int.Law from other members including You.

Sheerazi Good Luck, I suggest you to opt in Sociology with Journalism because both subjects relate with each other and in 2014 main topic for these subjects was "MEDIA".

Would be Welcome, I am very serious for 2015 and we should be. I can help you in different subjects specially Sociology. Thanks for motivation

Collosal, would be and many other seniors who took exam this year or previous years. would you please tell me how many months are enough for preparation for CSS and how many hours? if one starts from scratch. Can bone be able to compete in this exam just within period of one year?

Ahmad khoso I am pretty much sure that one who works hard and have proper guidance he could clear this test with 6 months of study (8 hour) but dont think that i have lot of time. If you are firm about this start it from today.

Inerrant Inamorata : You are welcome Good luck with your optional subjects. Zoology as your optional shocked me but if you have knowledge about this nothing wrong with it Good luck again.

I have done master in zoology so I choosed. I was confused about choosing political science but I have no other choice rather than this.

dear Ahmed! As I have already mentioned in my last message, that one have to study for six months if one devotes 10 hours daily to CSS prep. If you have job then make your time-table and start preparation in an organised manner. Donot rely on random study and books. Read books concerned for clearing concepts then go through different magazines and newspapers for developing thoughts. Moreover, mail me if you have any problem.

Would be I am too young to earn. I mean to say I am student and my job is yo study only even I don't participate in home chores.

Someone, above, said he/she is going to opt political science because it has no any other science. Kindly make it sure that political science is not biological science so you had better replace it with journalism and sociology. Sociology is related with psychology and one or two topics of it also cover PA and journalism has relation with CA.

Collosal I have started my preparation but it is very hard dedication.

Inerrant I suggest you to go through the syllabus of every subject before you make any decision, give 4-6 days to decide subjects it will be beneficial for you to study. Important be careful about your Interest also.

I have therefore therefore invited Moderatos and CSP officers to join this journey as soon as someone see this thread they will also participate and for the whole journey we will be sharing Our essays and other work, they will pass their comments and other members also. Star I will be uploading Study Plan of English Essay which include 50 General Topics we will be studying that topics in deep, after that we will minimize that to top 25 and then top 15 which will be very important. I and followers will write these topics and will share here to get checked, if you are worrying about how will you write, dont worry you can write from books and try to understand how to write an essay. we will be discussing more on this later on so stick to the thread.

Sherazi I referred Fazal Karim book for Geography. I didn't opt in Psychology this year but willing to next year. Here are the books for psychology

As i appeared in CE-2014 with only 2 months preparation and Alhamdulilah by the help of Almighty Allah i went so good more than i expected...Yes you are damn right Colossal one can easily done with all this stuff in 5 to 6 months easily, I also came to realize this fact during my last days of study!
I have done M.Phil in Economics and basically a research scholar and my optional were Economics,Persian,Punjabi and Sociology...The only normal or average paper i had is sociology,although i am very calculated person and thinks many times to do anything but i wrongly choose or opted sociology,so in CE-15 i will replace sociology with Statistics which will reap more fruits for me...
During these days i came across the fact and it intimate me that if i can do this with just two months preparation so what if i prepare for whole year, it will surely do wonders for me.. In Sha Allah:D:D

Many senior member on this form refer Feldmen,Sehr Bano and many other books as well.did you consult the books that u have mention..and plz share your review on geography...

Haroon Being an Electrical Engineer it was also difficult for me to select subject, I went through syllabus of all subjects and then opt in Islamic History because by the grace of God we are Muslims and we know most of the events in Islamic History I according to me its relatively easy, Geography is easy and interesting for science students so check that also, What matters in your decision is your previous educational background and your Interest so in accordance with these two you can select your subjects.
