Pakistan China Economic Corridor

The train link between China and Pakistan will be another chapter in the much sought after integration of Pakistan with China across economic and strategic domains. While it is true that it will open new avenues for businesses on both side, a more fundamental question has to be answered. Concretely, at what cost does all of it come? Does the incumbents in the federal government have done any studies on the possible effects of this relationship on the small and medium size traders in Pakistan? More importantly, how is this burgeoning relationship different from the client like status of Pakistani state vis-a-vis USA during the 1960s'?

These are important questions to answer because as we have seen more in the chequered political history of Pakistan, the state has invariably been reactive in its responses to disasters. Furthermore, the situation in Balochistan is precarious to say the least. How is the state planning to provide security to labor who will be essential to making this project get through to completion? These are answers that need to be answered before joining the roaring chorus. The people of this land have already suffered enormously because of ill-thought out advertures of their elites and they surely deserve better.

Is it any good?

Pak China Corridor
Pak-China cooperation in different spheres of activity is a glaring example of trust that both countries share. The recent projects like Kashgar-Gawadar railway track, Karachi-Lahore motorway and Pakistan’s first metro train project in Lahore, are just a few examples in this regard. The question that arises is what has made Sino Pak relations so strong that it has passed almost all the litmus tests of time? The answer is so simple; it is not the love for each other but the mutual interests which play a major role in developing international relations. Pakistan’s geopolitical location and china’s cold relations with India - a threat to china’s future as an Asian leader- have kept both china and Pakistan to share strong ties.
The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not take long in capitalizing china’s interest in the region. As a result of that, he proposed a railway link from Kashgar to Gawadar. Gawadr being the shortest and cheapest alternative route to import oil from central Asian energy rich countries and beyond, is an apple of the eye of china- teasing her to spend billions of dollars on it. The new projects like road and railway links would not only bolster china’s aspirations of becoming the most sustainable economy in the globe, but, also, would bring an era of prosperity in Pakistan. The intention of the Prime Minister is clear with the statement that he wanted to make Gawadar a free port on lines with Singapore and Hongkong. The railway link with china would play a major role in accomplishing the task of rapid economic growth for the traditional friendly neighbours.
But the thing that is to be concerned is deteriorating law and order situation in balochistan-sponsored by USA and India- which may keep Sino-Pak aspirations at bay. It is need of the time that severe action should be taken against non-stake actors so that order remains in the land and Pak-China cooperation bears its maximum fruit.

I am confused between types of energy and kinds of energy. Please tell me if I am right.

Types would include: kinetic energy, potential energy and potential energy.

Kinds would include:
1.Mechanical, 2. Chemical, 3.Electrical, 4. Light energy, 5. heat energy, 6Nuclear energy, 7. Nuclear energy, 8.solar energy, 9. Geothermal energy, 10. tidal energy, 11. hydropower energy.

Default Pak China corridor

Sorry for being late.
The recent Pak-China economic plans are good indeed, but certain doubts must be clarified. The plans include projects; a train and road link from Karachi and Gawader to Kashgir to provide a convenient port for connecting China to Central Asia, Russia, and Middle East, two nuclear reactors in Karachi, several projects in power sector, international airport in Gawader and a terrestrial fiber-link to Rawapindi. These developments further strengthen the bond between China and Pakistan. A study on Gawader-Kashgar rail linkhas been initiated in spite of adverse ground realities without considering the potential security challenges in Baochistan region. Baochistan law enforcement bodies seems inefficient in coping with the threats posed to these projects. The concerned authorities have vaguely changed the route of road link proposed earlier. Inclusion of Havelian as a dry port for the train link has also been excluded. But practicability of the dream needs its proper handling and reliability on the part of the government.

Here is my attempt and I encourage all of the respected participants to criticize this for I am here to learn correct writing. All others please do posts their writings.

With due respect, I could not find in the original text any clues of the highlighted ideas in the above attempts. Please DO correct me if I am wrong.
