Yes,in my case,I got 74 in IR paper 1 and 39 in IR paper 2

I molded each question according to its requirement. However, critical analysis was given in the end mostly.

I have heard that failing in one optional subject is fine as far as total marks are above 600 and won't disqualify you from Written. Is that right or one has to pass all the 12 subjects combined?

That rule has been scrapped. I think FPSC now subscribes to the belief that "The more that fail, the easier for us"

Yes...its same with everyone. What do you think might be the reason behind this? Was paper 2 IR very difficult or lack of preparation?
