Appear in '18 with the same subject combination. I am not sure but I have a gut feeling that all subjects targeted this year would prove scoring in 2018. Well, you can never be sure. They might not be scoring since it's all too unpredictable.

Pull up your socks. Burn the midnight oil. Give your best shot. And your Lord shall do what is best for you! Never let any fear conquer you. To be honest, there shouldn't be any fear in the very first place since essay/precis and scoring trend are unpredictable. They don't judge your competence. Just leave no stone unturned from your side so that you don't have any regrets.

Slain policies of FPSC

It's ironical, now the FPSC is deciding to merge the aggregate marks of English essay and precise & composition papers. It is injustice with the candidates appeared in previous years like 2015,16 and failed due to wrong marking in these subjects. Candidates of previous years should take up this issue through online complaints in Senate or raise this issue with FPSC where this issue is going to be discussed in coming weeks.

It was a hoax. The FPSC released a press release saying it is not true.

Even if the decision was true, it does not mean injustice was done to the candidates of previous years. It is simply a change of policy. Just because you would have passed the 2017 exam with the policies of the 2018 exam does not mean the policies of 2017 were unjust. That is like saying I am eligible for the army because 20 years ago one needed 3rd division to be eligible whereas now it is 2nd division or 1st division. It doens't mean the policy today is unjust, it is simply a new policy.

Does it mean that fpsc will increase the number of seats ? Never. They know how to hold quota. If this ever becomes true or change in any other policy this would be to make people happy only. If they really want to increase number of seats they would pass a hundreds of aspirants who deserve to pass every year.

Therefore, nobody should blame fpsc for any injustice even in marking scheme. The reason being they have limited no. of seats & they can't just do anything else than to fail candidates including a large number of deserving candidates. If we people were on their place we would have done the same.

If anybody has suggestion that due to limited seats what should fpsc do other than failing the candidates, feel free to post suggestion.

Hey Mainstream,

If it be alright, may I know how many marks did you score in your essay paper?
