Is local degree equivalence certificate necessary?
Dear members, I have a question. My degree will be attested by HEC on the 7th of December (because that was the first available slot ), but clearly with the current deadline, I will not have an equivalence certificate.
Will this be a problem and deem me ineligible for the exam? |

According to the rule pdf if you have a foreign degree you will need a equivalence certificate. I have a foreign degree and applied for a equivalence certificate 2 months ago and still haven't received it.
This is what the "final approved rules pdf" says: "(1) A candidate for competitive examination must hold at least a second division or grade ―C bachelor‘s degree in any faculty of one of the Pakistani universities or an equivalent degree or comparable educational qualifications of a foreign university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), subject to production of equivalence certificate issued by HEC." Good Luck! |
