colour:blue is good, it is known for its soothing effect (apart from its subtle impact on the interviewers, it will even calm your own nerves)..google psychological properties of colours if you are really interested..
shoes;whatever feels comfortable.(and doesnt make clip clop noise and/or alter your gait) during the group discussion and command task, you would be seated around such a table (though it was c shaped if i remember correctly) but during the interview, you will have to sit in a single chair with a small desk in front (in psychlogical test, they gave us an arm chair!!) and the interviewers will sit behind the big official desk. {{just practice entering a room..greet clearly (not too loudly) and then occupy the chair..maintain upright posture (not too rigid though)}} |

Colors should be soothing and not too loud. Do not wear silky dresses as it would be difficult to handle dupatta during interview. hues of pink, blue, sky-blue etc would look good. Black is all time in and white too gives a good effect. Its better to wear full sleeves. As far as shoes are concerned, do not wear high heels and flat shoes too are a big no no. wear sandles with 1 or 1.5 inches heel as they give a professional look. Do wear lipstick but not of too bold colors.
One thing that matters the most in such kind of interviews is your confidence. If you are a strong personality full of confidence and self assurance then it would automatically be reflected into your body language so concentrate more on that. |
