Does weak eyesight cause any disqualification for DMG.or Police Group?

Does weak eyesight, like 4.6, but corrected with glasses ,cause any disqualification for DMG.or Police Group?plz guide me.I have weak eyesight of 4.6 but complete correct with glasses.

Agreed with Musa's suggestion. Also note that even it is a problem, you can always go for laser surgery which will correct all defects/eyesight. It is also safe. Two of cousins have went through this procedure and its been 10 years now without any problems etc

with the help of laser surgery you correct you sight exactly 6/6 with just 25,000rs, two of my very known have undergone with this and they are now perfect, first clear written test eyesight is not an issue to be worried about.

I think that with weak eye sight, there is no problem except in PSP group. There must be a minimum standard in PSP group, & below that one can not qualify PSP group.

Laser treatment is not an absolute solution. In fact there is always a chance, although very rare, of complete blindness. I went through this procedure in 2004. For a year or so I did not wear glasses but then my sight started get weak again and now adjusted to -2 for right eye and -5 for left. Three of my sisters also went through this surgery at the same time and they are all well having no need to wear glasses any more. So I suggest you to go for Lasers only if glasses are not providing sufficient correction otherwise one should not play with eyes.

Laser surgery is suggested only after u have crossed 25 years of age.. if u get it before u will have to face side effects..

my eye side is quite weak its -3.5 and -3 will i be eligible for css and if i go through laser operation won't it have any objection in the medical test.
