@tassawur i need you help regarding some quries?
1: do we need to give reason about our favourite personalities and books or just name?
2: we have to write a stroy on the given picture in picture story writing or we have to give a title to it?
3: i know what autobiography is but i am confused how to write it, can you plz write a rough outline so that i have an idea how to write autobiography?
4: psychological test of both css and pms are same?

yes we need to give reasons as to why we chose these books and personalities. How they inspire us.
Title in a picture story is not asked for, and not necessary to provide. And its okay if someone still goes with a title.
Your autobiography should give info about your educational background with names of institutions, courses read, place of birth, about parents and siblings, your hobbies and reason why do you want to do CSS.
I am not sure about fourth question.

Brother I wasn't ready to be asked questions on literature and it proved to be my Achilles Heal. Otherwise I had a very pleasant experience of the Interview.


I wasnt asked any question about personalities . Neither any other out of the group of ten people on that particular day was asked about personalities.My favorite personalities were.

Angela Merkel
Sir ji what was their level of information about literature?? Were they ask simple superficial questioning or there was some kind of in-depth discussion?
I am also a literature grad, a rather concerned one

Yes we have to give reason for our likeliness for the books and the personalities. About books we have to tell why we liked them and what we learnt . Or if you would recommend those books to your friends then why.
While about personalities besides telling why we like them we also need to tell what personality traits we have in common with those personalities and what personality traits of them we we want to be in ourselves.

In autobiography one starts from telling about date and place of birth and family relationships . Thenone mentions about study history and then the achievements. And at the end why and how you decided to join civil service.

They are almost the same . But psychological of CSS is more lengthy and tougher one. In PMS at first day we do 6 activities while in css almost 10. While on day 2 of PMS we do one group discussion in Urdu and then interview with the psychologist. While in CSS we have two group discussions one in Urdu and one in English and then the interview with the psychologist.

Yar it was both superficial as well as in depth discussion. My advice to you is do not go without properly preparing English Literature .

I dont get how to complete sentences in the psychological that start with despair e.g.
I regret.....
My worst fear is.....
I failed.....

for instance cant we write: I failed to see off my friend. etc???kindly help Sir
