please guide me whether these two things have similar meanings?
and also explain this question

Almost same. . . freedom of press is a concept and free press is a state of being.

this question wants you to describe in this globalized world what role is free press playing . is it really playing any role or not? evaluate the standing of press. and what responsibility does press (media) play in developing society. (e.g giving voice to the voice less, informing us about elite class and their decisions, playing a role of interpreter etc)

i have no idea, i am consulting two books for that. 1 is abid tehami and second by caravn publishers writer is Farrukh Awan

You will not find the relevant question in Taga's book, because the book is related to sociology not Journalism.
