Financial Statement Format..?
I have read all the posts pertaining as to which format of Financial Statements to use in exams, but I have been getting contradictory answers.
The most commonly used text book viz., "Ghani and Afzal" all use T-account formats while syllabus clearly stipulates us to use IASB format. Utterly confused.! I am not sure which one I will be using in exams. Since I did't find CSP teachers for this subject to guide me on this issue, I would request seniors, especially CSPs with A&A as their optional, to guide me as to which format they used and got over the line. Thanks in anticipation. Regards. |

Format Financial Statements.
Use the format defined in syllabus.. Ignore past patterns.

Both are acceptable, however, u must follow in which you are comfortable. Don't panic for this.

Can I ask what format you eventually ended up using in the exam?
Thanks in advance |
