Yes i am opting, remain to the point and first go through the past papers. Final Accounts question is quite different from last two years and taxation portion (Section)

I have also opted for accounting and auditing...i had also appeared in 2010 css examz... mcqs are really lengthy though....and could any one plz help me in the taxation part??? where to prepare it? and i also wanted to get past papers for 2012...

well this part is going to be very important especially Tax slabs as their scope has been widened in the recent budget. For Taxation overview you can have any B.com or M.Com latest edition book on taxation but If you want to develop grip over this subject, you can study the original Taxation Law having jurisdiction within Pakistan now a day.

i did opt it in 2011 Css exams, secure 133 marks in both papers. got 80 in paper I, and only 53 in Paper II.

m opting it again in 2013 and expect to perform better this time.

I am also having some problems in paper II especially the area of Business Organisation and finance and Managerial accounting too as I have never been in touch with both for a long time

Sorry i wrote 2010 by mistake it was 2011..n i scored 119 in accounting and auditing...well i scored 63 in paper1 and 56 in paper2..i didn't study atall ... all my fault..but i need a good book that focuses on financial and cost accounting..could any one plz help me in this regard?

for financial accounting, i studied a number of books, coz i didn't find all topics in any one book.

I Prepared Final Account, Depreciation & Partnership account from B.Com & I.Com Books, Ratios from notes & Meigs & Meigs. Cash Budget from Meigs & Meigs.

studied Managerial Accounting by Garison & Norren.
Taxation, Auditing & Business from B.Com books.
