Default economics marks

why is it so?i mean the papers are not very difficult..maximum marks i had seen, while looking randomly at previous years' DMS, were around 120.whats the reason for such low scores?
i personally think that most of the students opting economics have read the subject in bachelors only so their analytical skills are not very good!any oher reason??

Default Thanx participating!

I agree wid Xenia. In the past, the subject has remained one of the high scoring elective subjects; Actually now a dayz what lacks is the preparation on the part of the CSS aspirants to the extent of making analysis n formulationg proactive opinions on the applied economic theory to the real world contemporary issues!
