But my main focus is to go topic wise from the recommended books which are especially meant for that particular topic e.g for theories simply I am reading Scott...I will not see theories from anywhere else then...Keep one or two supplementary books as well e.g if you have "World Order", it would be of great help.
Rameez Bhai, your thoughts on the following book. I am also consulting this for theories.

1: An introduction to International Relations Theory: perspectives and themes by Jill Steans, Lloyd Pettiford, Thomas Diez and Imad El-Anis

Liberalism, realism, structuralism, critical theory, postmodernism, feminist perspectives, social constructivism, green perspectives (intro, origins, assumptions, themes, summary, criticisms, common misunderstandings and further reading of all the theories).

I don't think one should go for more then one book, for one topic...It creates a mess at the end...Many students find Burchill difficult but the book you mentioned is easier...It's better to go for an easier one than reading a difficult book which confuses you...So, if you find Burchill difficult then go for the above mentioned book otherwise recommended book should not be sacrificed for a non-recommended one...

Try to restrict yourself around 2000 pages for I.R (books)...Not more then that...In the end finally concept is gonna help you...

For a starter, I would advise Parkash Chandara's International Relations; after this consult some latest editions of IR's books. Palmer and Perkins, Joshua, Kegley or Robert Jackson.
First, you should absorb easy material and then gradually go for the above mentioned writers.
