The subject of IR covers both History and politics, usually included in Global studies.

The most important problem in IR is tragedy of the commons (also known as prisoners dilemma or collective goods problems). To solve this we hve core principles of Dominance, Reciprocity and Identity. Inflential actors are state actors, non-state actors, globalization and levels of analysis.
