Default Nationalism and globlization

Besides the theories of IR one must grasp we basic concepts that underpin contemporary world order such as globalization, nation-states in the contemporary world, and nationalism.
There is no way to cover all these from a single source, in my view, IR is a demanding and technical subject. After going through multifarious sources, I found the book written by jhon bayalis and steve smith is a remarkable piece of work to grasp above mention concept if one find hard to understand these concepts and their implication on contemporary world order one must give a read to this book

I second your views about IR. Needless to say, IR is one of those subjects which shall be covered in wider range of techniques. With the new trends of this paper, one shall equip herself/himself with meticulous reading of various sources, but quality of reading is the key element to get attached to the true spirit of this subject.
I would also like to add here that for covering IR in the best possible way, we shall reproduce current affairs in such a way that it would cover IR's jargon. Firstly, get yourself familiar with concepts. Secondly, make bullet notes of topics. Thirdly, apply those theories and concepts to contemporary global issues. Last but not least, keep writing answers for polishing your exam demands. Viola ! you are all ready to sit in IR exam.
