As applied and pure math both are of 200 marks subjects each so you can't take them both as your optional you will take one of them because this is not allow. So its up to you now to decide which one you want to take. Take that one which you have interest and command.

Dear see course outline of applied maths if you feel yourself comfortable with mechanics portion then opt it otherwise go for pure maths as you have studied almost 80 % of it in b.sc double maths.
