Well ,IR can yield a descent score if you prepare it prudently and IF luck favors you.
Physics cannot help you in any other subject ,but IR and pol.sc can.
Do consider all shades of physics ,Pol.sc and IR .
Check Past papers ,syllabus and previous scores in these subjects .
think 100 times before you take a decision .when you take it .Be persistent with it.

I will recommend to go for pol.sc or IR because ;
You have a lot of time to master these subjects
These subjects will help you in overall preparation .
I wont reccommend physics in your scenario because you can prepare pol sc or IR in a best possible way .

To greater extent IR overlaps or supplement USA History and IL..

You can prepare more than 50%from Bsc books. And for rest of the other topics you can search internet.
No need to go for FPSC recommend books. And if you require notes of any specific topic then I can post here.
