what should be done for numerical? please guide
from halliday resnick book cover examples with topics. solve Fsc numericals and if u find time solve numerical problem of halliday book.

1 more thing make a chart of all formulas and memorize them well. 2nd you should be good in scale converstion. and lastly practice numericals with different values.

e.g to find force
force formula is F=ma mass and acceleration is given you can find force easily.
use values of force, mass and calculate acceleration. then calculate mass by using force and acceleration. this will check your answer as well as make your good grip on using formula. same numerical solve by using different units.

this is lengthy practice which need a lot of time but make your good grip.

regards

i uploaded the solution manual in ebooks you can check.

some of the chapters which i remember by topics are as under

light, sound, thermodynamics, relativity, electricity and magnetism( i think 3 to 4 chpters) mechanics portion some 3 to 4 chpters.
debroglie and bohr theory,
nuclear you can leave on choice or electronics.

some of the topics are not in book so you need to cover it from internet. or some other books.

Default Recommended physics books for css 2014

Following are recommended books for CE' 14 and so on ...these are world best books on physics:
1-University Physics - Young and Freedman
2-Fundamentals of Physics - Halliday, Resnick, and Walker
3- book [isbn=0471816841]A Review of Undergraduate Physics
4-physics - lectures on physics by feynman
5-Physics: Principles with Applications( Douglas C. Giancoli)
{this is taught in UET,LAHORE as a textbook for all engineering}

if you are really interested in physics then study above books.Select any three and solve CSS past papers..

FOR MCQ'S::

solve MCQ'S from AIEEE PHYSICS MCQ'S or IIT-JEE PHYSICS MCQ'S
After that you can score the marks you desire..GOOD LUCK.

Default Physics is not risky at all in css

Being an electrical engineering student I say that PHYSICS is not difficult as all.It is you who make the subject difficult for you.Basically,I want to say that if you want to take this subject just study it focussed and well-planned.When you compare it with GEOGRAPHY and Phsychology , then the question arises of interest.KEEP THAT SUBJECT IN WHICH YOU ARE INTERESTED AND CAN SCORE GOOD SUBJECT,
Below is plan of preparation of PHYSICS PAPER(200 MARKS)::

FOR MCQ'S:
-do MCQ's from IIT-JEE books on PHYSICS.YOU can practice MCQ'S from another brief book AIEEE(These are indian engg. entrance test preparation books easily available in URDU BAZAR,LAHORE and SAEED BOOK DEPOT,ISLAMABAD).
-if you have practiced MCQ'S from these books you can score 18-19 mcq;s correct.
FOR THEORY:

Following are suggested readings.Just prepare physics topic wise::

-Physics for Scientists and Engineers by Raymond A. Serway, John W. Jewett
-Physics for Scientists and Engineers by Douglas C. Giancoli
-Fundamentals of Physics by David Halliday, Robert Resnick, Jearl Walker
University Physics with Modern Physics by Hugh D. Young, Roger A. Freedman

JUST PICK UP TWO BOOKS FROM ABOVE AND START PREPARING
-also mark the questions in the book that have come in previous past papers
-make HALLIDAY,RESNICK as first choice and pick any other book as second choice
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you prepare well you can score 150+ marks easily in PHYSICS ..SO do not confuse yourself...ALSO PRAY FOR ME I AM CURRENTLY STUDYING IN UET,LAHORE.
