Dear your subject combination is the best i have ever come across so far..
it has now become a cliche that Indo Pak is generally not scoring subject.. i deny the statement categorically..i give following arguments for that..
1: everyone wants to secure the maximum marks in CSS, that is one thing that everyone would agree with..
2: Now when we have agreed that everyone wants to secure maximum marks marks, then he/she would choose the subject that promises more marks relatively to other subjects and drop the one that is not considered as high scoring because this is a rational approach..
3; if some subjects are high scoring and some are low scoring then there is no good reason for those so called subjects to be there as no one would opt them because no one wants to secure low marks..
4: so we come to know that excluding the mathematics subjects, rest are equal, it might be the case that some are easily prepared and others take little more time to be prepared but FPSC treats all subjects equally..
all you need is prepare INDO PAK comprehensively..
5: you get a bonus subject prepared by opting INDo PAk History i-e Pak Affairs..

Indo Pak is not a Walk in the Park or free lunch
People say that it affords you additional paper Pak Affairs......i appeared in CE-2012
To tell you bro, Indo Pak is a Big Mess
Yes it is interesting, to some extent known to all of us since school times, also yes it gifts One Paper of Pak-Affairs
But again not so easy, things get mixed up, dates in MCQs are so close that you might get confused....
Yes if you have a knack of studying History
then go for it, but prepapre it like a Science, like a FULL PACKAGE
then it will benefit you

ok folks now let me make things easier for you..
first i would talk about Paper A..if you have a look at past 5 year papers, you will come to know that there are generally three type of questions asked..
1:Administration of a certain sultan/emperor or a dynasty such as Administration of Sultans/ Mughals..
2: Character and achievements of a certain personality i-e Muhammad bin Tughalaq or Babur..
3: Question about a certain silsila e-g chishtiya, suharwardiya etc.
now as you can see that the thing that mostly scares people i-e battles and dates are dropped and not asked in subjective as these are mostly part of objective and even their share in objective portion is no more than 20% i-e 4 MCQs.. i hope the things are bit clear now..all you need is focus on administration and personalities and accomplishments..that's all, i will talk about paper 2 in next post IA..

better to avoid this subject. but if u cant then try to make as much sketches and maps in each question as u can. secondly take an analytic approach rather than pen down ratta rataya stuff. give appropriate weightage to each part of the question.

lastly time management is important. aesa na ho k 4 me se 3 question tou achi tarah ker lo or 1 question ko 10 mint do.

regards
