What is important of verses(ahsa'ar) in urdu paper

I have opted urdu and prepared it nearly whole. The question i want to aked that is it mandotary to write asha'ar as example while attempting questions like ghazal after1857 or nazm after 1857

Walaikum Assalam.It is an open secret that writing ashaar and quotes make paper more impressive.It would be better,if you write.
What have you prepared till now?Have you done all poets?If you know about any online link for Noon Meem Rashid's poetry, Nazeer Akbar Abadi and "Jarray ki chandni" by Ghulam Abbas,please share it.

I have read nearly 50% books of urdu syllabus i.e poetry and novels during my educational carrer. And the end of my educational carrer due to some disease i lost my power of walking and rest on bed for the whole time. during this time i read remaining part of urdu syllabus and then i read the books recommended by csp's. So i didn't know about any online link for poetry etc. The problem with me is that i can't remember the verses of ancient poets like wali dakni etc and parts of poems.

You can choose the selective ashaar which are easy to memorize.For example,Wali dakni k ye ashaar mein ne yaad kiye hue hain,ap b ye he ker saktay hain;

Farishta jahan Kaam kerta na tha,
meri aah ne barchiyaan mareen..

Na hovay usay jagg mein hergiz qaraar,
jisay ishq ki be'qaraari lagay
_____________

jo hai teray dehan mein rang o khoobi,
kahan ye rang ye khoobi kali mein
