Default Some Excellent Books On Muslim Law ..

Assalam o Alaikum All ..

I have found some excellent books on Muslim Law & Jurisprudence ..

1- An introduction to Islamic Law by Joseph Schacht
2- A history of Islamic Law by N.J Coulson
3- Muslim Family Law by David Pearl & Werner Menski

All these books are recommended by University of London for their LLB Islamic Law subject ..
I found Schacht and Coulson very precise and accurate with a good commentary on the subject, while Pearl & Menski is just a terrific book for Muslim Family Law and covers all the topics with a fair amount of detail ..
All these books are also easily available from any good laws book shop ..

(Just wanted to let u all know as I will also be consulting the same books for my CSS 2012 prep, so I just want a fair fight :P )

There are some other books too, which are recommended in syllabus and by seniors on this forum .. These include Mullah's, Abdur Rahim's and Faizee ..

I wish good luck to all opting this subject ..

Regards ..
