The planet on which we live is called Earth. The globe of earth consists of three layers. The outermost layer is called Earth’s Crust, the layer lying beneath the Earth’s Crust is called Magma. While the inner most layer of the earth is Core. Outer Crust is hard and solid rock, while the Mantle is like a molten plastic. The inner core is also hot and solid.
