I will not be able to explain in English properly but I can try well in Urdu.
Nimanta ka matlab hay apnay ap ko bohat aajiz bohat kamzor bohat haqeer bohat chooti chiz samajhna.
Kamzor auy haqeer zyada proper words hain

Shah Hussain has very often in his poetry used this word Nimana.

As he says,

Saajan meri akhya'n wich wasda, main galya'n phira'n tushangi aa'n
Kahay Hussain faqir Nimana main wer changay naal mangi aa'n

Mandi aa'n k changi aa'n , Saahib teri bandi aa'n
